Join the GALDA Community

For more than 40 years, GALDA has provided a forum for professional networking, mentorship, and the exchange of ideas and experiences related to education, research, and patient care involving LGBTQ+ issues in dermatology.

Membership is open to dermatologists, dermatology residents, dermatology office personnel, advanced practice providers (nurse practitioners and physician assistants), pharmaceutical representatives, exhibitors, and allies.

Membership Application

After your application is submitted, credentials will be verified through the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) membership database or another relevant professional society. If you are not currently an AAD member, please include your U.S. or international society affiliation on your application.

Once your membership is approved, you will receive a welcome email with instructions for establishing your login credentials and accessing the members-only sections of the GALDA website.

Annual Membership Contributions

We invite members to support GALDA through the following suggested annual contributions.

Dermatologist $150

Resident $75

Industry & Corporate Representatives $250

GALDA Allies $150

Membership contributions may be tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.

If you would like to contribute more than the suggested membership amount, please visit our Donate page to make an additional donation.

*Medical students should apply for membership after receiving their residency acceptance.

Dermatologists - $150.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: January 1st Renew manually We recommend that dermatologists contribute a minimum of $150 per year.

GALDA Allies - $150.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: January 1st Renew manually We appreciate support from GALDA allies! GALDA allies include physicians and non-physicians that support the goals of inclusion and networking, but do not identify as LBGTQIA. We encourage allies to contribute a minimum of $150 per year.

Industry & Corporate Representatives - $250.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: January 1st Renew manually We encourage pharmaceutical representatives, exhibitors and other industry & corporate representatives to make a minimum donation of $250 per year.

Residents - $75.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: January 1st Renew manually Medical students should apply after you receive your residency acceptance. We encourage residents to donate a minimum of $75 per year.
